and the clutz of the week is.....

....me! My mom has always said that I trip on air, and after the last two days I think she was right. Yesterday I was out with my friends and we all decided to see who could do the splits the lowest to the ground. Well I knew I could do it...I just didn't realize how slippery the floor was. Needless to say, I decided to attack the floor with my whole body when my feet slipped out from underneath me. I know, you are thinking well that doesn't really make you a clutz. I didn't get to this morning. After taking a muscle relaxer, so I could sleep through the night, I tried to get out of bed and attacked the floor again. I am 4 foot 11 and my bed is 3 feet off the ground so I have to diagonally slide out of bed. What I thought was diagonal, and what my body thought was diagonal got their messages mixed. So, today I am not doing anything but homework and making some more jewelry to put on my Etsy shoppe.

Here are a few I have posted recently. If you like any of them, go here for more!

Etsy Shop Promotion

While I love selling items on my etsy shop, I also love helping out other shops by helping them to promote themselves. One shop Two Sasters does a promotion every Monday where she takes her blog and helps to promote other Etsy shops on her blog. So I decided to return the favor and promote her shop with a new blog post. If you have an etsy shop and you want to promote it here, leave me a comment and I will add a link to your shop on my blog. Share the love and help us keep our small businesses going!

Pay it Forward 2012

I found this wonderful article at ArtEdventures and thought I would share and join her pay it forward project.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Do you like to receive cool handmade gifts?  Do you like to give handmade gifts and bring joy through those gifts?  Do you want to join a project and BRING JOY EXPONENTIALLY through handmade gifts?
PAY IT FORWARD 2012
This project stems from a Facebook challenge that a blogger participated in last year, in which she received one handmade gift from one person and in turn "paid it forward" by giving five handmade gifts to five people (and those five people were to each give to five people, growing the project exponentially and indefinitely).
Here's an adaptation of the project, to be carried through, by threes, via the blog world.
1
If you would like to participate, please leave a comment below.
The first three people to respond and show commitment
to the project will receive a handmade gift from me!!!
2
Post this project on your own blog--feel free to cut n' paste.
Gather three new participants and be willing / prepared
to follow through with the "Pay It Forward" part!!!
Please link back to this original post:
and I, in turn, will include a link to your post
so that we can follow the project from its origin.
3
I will give you a (small, simple, heartfelt) handmade gift.
Make sure to email me your full name and address.
In turn, give (small, simple, heartfelt) handmade gifts
to your participants, and let the joy grow exponentially!!!
(please only enter under one blog... give more than you receive!)
I will be participating in this project and will give you a handmade gift, made by me.
New adventure!
I am delving deeper into making jewelry as a full time business instead of a hobby. All of the beads I was needing for my back orders finally came in. It felt like Christmas opening the box and seeing all of the beautiful colors. When I go into a store and look at their jewelry, I try to figure out how I can tear them apart and make them into something even more beutiful than they already were. It feels so wonderful to create something so beautiful that you can share with others. If you have never made jewelry before, but are tired of paying high prices for jewelry that breaks the day you purchase them, go down to your local craft shop and start experimenting. I promise you will enjoy it, even if its just a side hobby.
Check out my shop if you want inexpensive handmade jewelry.
