Having fun with Polymer Clay!

I recently started playing with clay to make beads for my jewelry. I began looking around stumble upon, tumble, etsy, and various google search webpages, and i found more and more fake/faux gauges. I have found a few tutorials on youtube and various websites and they looked really easy to make. Some people carve them out of wood, bone, or plastic, while others hand make them with polyclay. I am going to try my hand at this and post updates of my work as it progresses. If you have no idea what I am talking about take a look at these photos I found around etsy:

Trends of 2012

I have been searching around online for different trends in jewelry for the year 2012 and I have come to find that bright colors, buttons, and pearls are the biggest trends. I never thought of using buttons for jewelry pieces but think of the possiblities!
